One of my career highlight's right here.

I was honoured to contribute some art for an EP by Toughcrowd, who have flown the flag for west yorkshire hip hop for some time, garnering interest from the likes of Frankie Boyle and DJ Format, The duo were part of another hip hop outfit going by the name of Flame Griller, which had about 6 trillion plays on spotify which must have earned each of them double figures of pence each. Beyond all that they both do their own solo material under the names of JND and EXP.

I like Tough Crowd because their music is for grown ups, and as a person with such aspirations I find their output to be most agreeable. They have tunes about the struggle to be a creative type, about making an honest living and being a nice person in general as well as grander themes about society at large, politics and looming mortality. If you're the sort of person who thinks they like hip hop you might actually not like this, cos it's not your average offering of cliched themes most readily associated with the mainstream genre. "money, bitches and bling" are not what these lads get out of bed for. If, on the other hand, you think you don't like hip hop, you might just surprise yourself here.

It's cool to have my work forever associated with such a class act.
